Electric Muscle Stimulation: Electric muscle stimulation, or EMS, is a therapy modality that assists in both relaxation and in some cases rebuilding and retraining of muscles groups and fibers. Dr. Holzworth regularly applies EMS therapy when indicated.

Class IIIb(cold) laser: Class IIIb(cold) laser is a modality that can be used for a multitude of problems. In her clinic Dr. Holzworth has used class IIIb laser for faster healing of post surgical wounds, decreasing inflammation in patients suffering from tendinitis and bursitis as well as decreasing healing times in sprain/strain patients.

Therapeutic Ultrasound: Therapeutic Ultrasound is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses sound waves to reduce pain, decrease inflammation, and support tissue healing. Using sound waves that penetrate deep into muscles, tendons, and joints, ultrasound helps increase blood flow and improve mobility in areas that are stiff, sore, or slow to heal. It’s commonly used for muscle strains, ligament injuries, scar tissue, and chronic tightness—helping your body heal more efficiently and comfortably.
